This piano has the depth of tone, singing treble, and dynamic range one expects from a Steinway 6' grand. Approximately 30 years ago, the piano was refinished, the original soundboard was shimmed and sealed, the string plate was repainted, restrung with larger tuning pins, and the white key tops recovered. In 2023 Flynn Pianos replaced the hammers, shanks, and repetitions. The damper underlevers and guide rails were reconditioned. The action was thoroughly regulated and the Abel Natural hammers were voiced. The satin ebony case and Steinway piano chair were touched up.
