This fine piano is in extraordinarily good condition for its 35 years of age. In looks, feel and sound, it's like stepping back to the Steinway showroom in 1985. It has the warmth and evenness one expects of this vintage. Nothing bright or flashy. However, it has an especially sweet, sustained treble that is characteristic of the best Steinway grands. Plenty of power and depth of tone throughout. The action is even and easy to control. There are minor paper scratches, but no damage. The soundboard, bridges, pinblock, tuning pins, strings, etc. are excellent. Good crown and bearing. Pins are snug, holds the pitch very well. The action has only light wear. It's in fine regulation and voiced to sound as this model Steinway should. Price includes the original bench, built-in climate control system, ground floor delivery within 50 miles, and one in-house tuning.
