This fine Baldwin grand is a musically and mechanically robust piano suitable for a wide variety of uses: home, school, recording studio, or public venue. It is fully regulated and voiced with new Abel Natural hammers. Strong, slightly nasal bass. Dry timbre in middle & treble with especially good sustain in the lower treble. Smooth transitions between registers. Excellent soundboard, bridges and pin block. The case looks good from 6 feet away, but has many minor dings and paper scratches that are visible up close. It is in the workshop of Flynn Pianos in Great Barrington, MA.
